Our business vision is “We help everyone enjoy amazing technology”. Currently we are looking for a Team Manager for IT Department counting 100+ people.

What will you do?

Team Managers are responsible for assigned teams and their leads within the Brno E-Commerce Development & Support team. They lead and coach the engineers and ensure they have all required capabilities, follows internal Ways of Working, using agreed best practices and are sized according to the planned demand.
They are accountable for people professional development, the processes inside the teams and quality of the delivered work. They closely cooperate with other manager roles in development area including other locations and external teams.

You can look forward to:
  • Leadership of the engineers and their coaching according to the internal rules and agreed best practices
  • Provide support to the leaders in the teams and help with exceptional situations
  • Make sure the teams have all the information they need and all requests from teams are properly escalated to relevant management level
  • Arrange regular reviews with staff members to assist in organising and developing the team, in order to maximise staff performance and potential
  • Assure regular Performance & Development Reviews (PDRs) with each team member
  • Provide regular feedback to the team to encourage improved performance
  • Identify & develop individuals who have the ability to incorporate additional responsibilities into their work
  • Make sure the teams are organised and sized according the team’s work and purpose
  • Recruit new technical staff according to resource forecasts
  • Cooperate with HR department on hiring process’s improvement
  • Cooperate with other managers to propose the improvements regarding the organisation and internal processes.

  • Team Leadership proven experience
  • Ability to communicate with stakeholders, good communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience from international and multi-location environment
  • Software Development Lifecycle experience
  • Proactive and positive approach to work and problem solving
  • Knowledge of Scrum, Lean or Kanban methodologies
  • Ability to delegate and cascade information
  • Experience with cooperation on hiring process measurements, and process improvement
  • Representative figure both inside and outside of company
  • Understanding of social media representational effects and willingness to cooperate on social media content delivery
