Your daily job will be to support our colleagues based in the UK. The main activities you will be responsible for are preparation of UK corporation tax returns, forecasting, communication with UK tax authorities and assistance with other tax related tasks. As you will be in daily touch with our UK colleagues, you might soon realise that you use English more than your mother language.

What will you do?

  • Assistance with the UK tax compliance process; including preparation of UK corporation tax returns and preparing the UK tax payments calculation
  • Initial preparation of PAYE Settlement Agreement submission to HMRC
  • Assistance with preparing the consolidated tax charge and accompanying disclosures for inclusion in the consolidated financial statements of the Group
  • Assistance with forecasting the Group’s effective tax rate
  • Helping the direct taxes team respond to HMRC queries and correspondence
  • Helping the direct taxes team with other ad-hoc projects

Now you’re probably wondering what skills and knowledge we expect from you? Well…

  • At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Experience in tax area is advantage
  • MS Office knowledge – advanced excel skills
  • Motivated to learn about UK tax
  • Advanced level of English (strong verbal and written communication skills)
  • Motivated to learn about UK tax
  • High degree of integrity, accuracy and independence
  • Ability to deliver to deadlines and organise priorities
  • Able to sequence and prioritise workload to manage multiple tasks at once
  • Self-motivated
  • Good organisational and analytical skills
